Account Policies— Delivery and Billing

New deionizing resin and new activated carbon are shipped to current accounts within two business days of the order.

New resin tanks and carbon tanks are shipped within two business days of the order.

We regenerate exhausted resin within three days of receipt, and return the regenerated product within one business week.

All orders are shipped United Parcel Service (UPS). We drop-ship via UPS to any address you designate.

Invoices are due net 20 days. A late charge of 1.5% per month is made on all past due amounts.

 

How to exchange deionizing cells ...

Quick-connect fittings make exchanging cells as easy as 1, 2, 3 — the entire process takes less than five minutes.
Quick-connect head makes cell exchange fast.
1. Remove the U-pin. Save the shipping cap for returning the cell for the next recharging.

2. Inspect the ports to make sure they are clean, and then assemble the head to the tank adaptor. The head and adaptor are coded for inlet and outlet.

3. Re-insert the U-pin. If a purity light is used, simply fit it to the 1/2" FPT port and tighten it down. If no light is needed, the operator plugs the port with a 1/2" pipe plug.

That's it. The cell is ready.

You can purge a tank by disconnecting the cell and applying 10 psi air pressure to the inlet.

Another way to purge a cell is to invert the shipping cap and re-attach it with the U-pin. The inverted cap retains the resin while allowing you to upend the tank and drain it overnight.

Can ABA ship my order via my company's UPS account?
Yes, customers often ask us to ship on their own UPS account.

Can ABA ship to multiple locations and bill to our main office?
Yes, you only need to specify the destination at the time you place the order.

Do you warrant your products?
Yes. So if you have any questions regarding quality, please, contact us right away. We want to make sure you are satisfied with our service for you.

What is the environmental waste charge on the invoice?
When we regenerate your resin, we also separate-out the zinc, copper, molly and dispose of these according to regulatory agency requirements. The invoice includes a reimbursement for that expense.

How do we establish an account with ABA Water Systems?
It's easy. We just need the basics, such as company name, address, contact person, phone, credit references, so on. New customers usually send a credit application which we then process within a week of receiving it.

Do you charge sales tax?
House accounts are billed Minnesota sales tax at 6.5% on purchases. Our distributors invoice according to their own state's sales tax.

Can you ship C.O.D.?
We've been asked to do so occasionally. Call, and we'll try to accommodate you.
